Went over to the bff’s house to bake again last saturday! We first planned to bake a cake with our gang friend (nope not those gangster kind of gangs haha) but she wasn’t feeling well. Since we didn’t had a cake tin at hand, bff quickly googled and found this chocolate chocolate-chip muffin recipe from Nigella on the food network website.
The recipe was simple and the batter was quickly whipped up in no time. We managed to make around 24 muffins because we were using smaller muffin cases. And since they were smaller, they only need to be baked for a shorter time but we left our first batch in the oven for the whole 20 minutes stated in the recipe. Our muffins sunk in the middle and were as hard as rock. We could hit our enemies with these muffins!
The later batches turned out more moist and springy as we baked them for only 10 minutes. They looked quite ugly so we sprayed some whipped cream on top. Our “frosting” skills didn’t improve much hahahaha.
I don’t think I will make this again ’cause though it tastes fine, it doesn’t taste superb~
